You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you
I started this with rescuing few kittens and puppies at home. Never did I think that this would grow to become the organization that it is today. As time went by and rescued numbers grew, it proved to be challenging work, physically, mentally and emotionally. There have been and still are days that everything seems hopeless and impossible.
However I found the strength and courage to carry on and the incentive came from the animals themselves. Simply a wag of a tail of a healing dog or a purr of satisfaction of a rescued cat made it all worthwhile. And then I realized that those animals had rescued me just as much as I rescued them and I would not change a moment of it all.
As we celebrate anniversary of our 7th year, I remain hopeful that we can continue doing this wonderful work and change things for the better. After all, I am a strong believer of this quote:
Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever
Be kind… Be kinder… and give something back to the world.
And don’t give up on your dreams.
